why is this little girl so happy?

So just why is this little girl so happy?

Because she's going to have a little sister!

That's right, ladies and gents, my house is turning into a Jane Austen novel. I'll be living with three ladies, sometime around Dec. 9.

We're really excited about this new addition and the little one looked perfect at our 20-week ultrasound last week. She and Ella will be about 21 months apart, which will be a whole lot of fun.

We'd like to ask you to keep our family in your prayers for this season, for the little one inside, for Alison's health, and for Ella having to learn how to be a big sister. It's going to be fun, but it's going to be crazy. Little sisters, woo-hoo!

Coolness:) Congratulations! It sounds like your planning on a few more daughters if you're going to reach Jane Austin status.:)

Dangit, Andy, will you stop copying my life? :-)

Speaking from experience, the only thing better than one little girl is two of them. Congrats to you and Allison.

congrats andy! ours are 17 months apart, so erica's been through what alison is going to go through. its cool having them so close, even though the hard times can be really hard at first. a two-yr old and an infant can be a deadly combo on a hard-working mom from time to time so just be ready for it and enjoy it. we'll try to remember to keep you guys in our prayers.

Congratulations, Andrew! From one who just had a second daughter born but a few months ago, I can tell you the work triples, but it's totally worth it.

Little girls rule!
