Great news! There is a great review on Christianity Today's website of The Morning. Go check it out and, if you could, send them a comment thanking them for supporting me and the Square Pegs. Thanks!

Congrats man. Glad to hear it. Elliot Smith? Maybe the voice doubling on Early in the Morning is coming to mind.
It was a great review.
Congratulations, Andy! I'm sure it's wonderful to see all your hard work recognized.
Congrats, Andy. They don't give out five stars freely, unlike many christian music review sites.
I love that review. Nice job, Russ.
How does one purchase this CD??? I can't seem to find a link/online store/etc. Thanks.
Blessed2Pieces,
The link to the store is over there on the left - ninth link from the top.
Check out what Russ wrote in the newsletter Christianity Today sends out:
The thing I love and hate most about my job as a music critic is that I listen to a lot of new music. It's a joy and a privilege to stay on top of all the major releases in the Christian marketplace (and beyond), but at the same time, it generally denies me the time to go back and re-listen to many of my favorite artists, always moving on and acquainting myself with the next album.
That's why I crave road trips, such as my drive to St. Louis last week to visit my parents. It allows a guilt-free stretch of time to listen to music for the fun of it. There's no better way for me to get through the complete 3-hour recording of Les Miserables uninterrupted—the same goes for concept albums like David Crowder Band's A Collision or concert recordings by my favorite artists. Otherwise, it's just too hard for me to find time in the day-to-day schedule to listen to what I want to hear most.
So as you might imagine, I'm thrilled when my work and personal enjoyment coincide and I come across an album that really turns my head around. We've already rated some truly excellent 4½-star efforts this year, but last week I finally came across my first 5-star review for 2006 (though Andrae Crouch's Mighty Wind did earn our site's first official 5-star rating for the year). I never pretend that albums earning our highest rating will please everyone, so I'll spare you hyperbole about how this one will change your life and be played in heaven today. But for me, it represents the first album of the year that gets everything right with intelligent songwriting, Christian themes, and music that is varied, interesting, approachable, and well recorded.
That album is The Morning, the second solo effort from Andrew Osenga, formerly of The Normals and currently with Caedmon's Call. It's an independent release available through his website, so you won't find it in stores. But if you enjoy thoughtful alternative pop, rock, and folk, I highly recommend it.
