Name That Thing

Ok, I have a couple quick things to put up here before I go to bed.

1. My EP 'Souvenirs and Postcards' is available once again in the store. Many thanks to Bryan at Grassroots for helping me get these available again. Also, once I figure out how to make it show up in the Store, the Live CD I recorded in Champaign, IL last year will be available in my store for a limited time. I only have a very small batch of them, so they're first come-first serve.

2. I decided a few days ago I wanted to teach Ella how to color. I finally remembered where we had a box of crayons today and got a piece of paper and set her down next to me on the floor. Well, she didn't really pick it up like I'd hoped. Maybe I should wait a year or two. She did, however, enjoy a nice afternoon snack of Violet Red Crayola Paper, which she seemed to enjoy very much. And it was apparently really fun to just empty the box of crayons one by one. The point here, however, is what I drew while attempting to show her the glory of visual art. Here was my masterpiece...

Look closely. I have no idea what this is. Seriously, whoever can come up with the best name for this thing will win something, I'm not sure what. It probably depends on how great the name is.

Ready, set, go...

looks like a severed toe with a head on it. I don't have a name for that, but that's what it is.

Lets see...from my vast knowledge on pre-historic/post-modern morphology, I'd say that is clearly a mousarthiono sapidragonalandycian...in its early stages of life...most likely between 23 and 23.4597 months of age.

I think it looks like a giant alien ship with a weird head on it. It is emitting rays from the bottom that is killing everything in site to scare people into believing whatever the head says.
An astronomy professor that I had in college, who lead a support group for people upducted by aliens told us about this specific clan of aliens that you have made a drawing that seems to be an exact replica of. They usually stay in the midwest, and like Nebraska which is where I am from. However, every now and then they like to head south, they like the lights in Nashville, and you must have seen one when you were dazed coming home at 3 am. Andy, you thought it was something you saw in your sleep, but it was very real.
As for the name of what you drew, it is called a "Taramasu Lillypad Abductor"
