dropping in

Ok, I think I got the comments somewhat fixed. I've been having quite a spam issue with it and keep trying different options to fix it. Anyway, thanks for all your helpful comments.

A couple quick things for today. For those of you wanting to follow up on the Great Guilty Pleasure Read-Off you can read Alison's blog post about it. I'm nearing the end of Shopaholic and Alison is midway through poor old Rama.

This week I'm working at Paul Eckberg's studio on a new album for Justin Branam. He's a great, young songwriter from Indiana who has like 8 million myspace friends. Paul and Aaron Sands put down drums and bass yesterday and rocked it like champions.

And the biggest news of all, tomorrow is Ella's first birthday! I can't even believe it. I have a one-year old. And she's awesome.

And Dave, the intern just told me about how I was in his dream last night with my parents, 50 14-year old Normals fans, a fridge full of beer and a rock show that never quite happened. I wonder what those dream interpretation books would say about that? Hmm...

Well, that's about it for me today. I have some big news brewing that I'll share in a few days, but for now, I'm off to make some more music.

Hey man. Tell Ella happy B-day. I didn't realize that she was one day younger than my son, Jeremiah. It's a beautiful life isn't it? I love being a dad!

Yeah. That was like getting all into a show and seeing "to be continued" pop up on the screen and you knew that you had to wait. You just had to.

You, your parents, 50 14-year old Normals fans, a fridge full of beer and a rock show that never quite happened?!?! That sounds like the start to a great short story at least! Oh my!
